MN 9414-01 Worldview, Culture and Mission
Welcome to MN 9414-01 Worldview, Culture and Mission. I am anticipating a stimulating and enriching time together July 24-27 as we explore some issues relating to mission in a changing and challenging world. This site will have various materials necessary for the course - the course syllabus, some assigned essays, and hand-outs which we will use for classroom lecture / discussion.
There is a considerable amount of reading for the course. Given the nature of the course and the subject matter, it is important that each participant complete the assigned reading prior to class. Classroom discussions are based upon the readings.
The hand-outs will be used to frame our class discussions on selected topics. I will not bring paper copies of the hand-outs to class, so it is important that each participant have access to the hand-outs electronically or in printed form.
Please note that each participant is to sign up for a class presentation on a particular portion of the assigned reading (see syllabus). Please contact Dr. Netland at firstname.lastname@example.org to request your desired selection for the oral presentation.
